ABOUT US
Our goal was to create an informative and interactive monthly budget tracker that shows where the user is spending their money. Using these resources, users can better plan for their future and save smarter based on their previous spending habits. After filling out our Google Sheet, the user is provided with a list of where they spent their income and what percent of it is spent in each category. We also have a simple investment calculator that can help you see the value of compound interest.

How to use
Much like the budgeting calculator you will go to the spreadsheet but this time everything will be on the main page. For the Investment calculator you will first put in the initial amount you will invest and the amount you will continue to invest. In the time period you will put, in months, how often you will invest so once every 3 months is 3 and once a month is 1. The years is how long you will continue to contribute and invest. Return rate is the yearly percentage you expect your investments to grow (10% is average). You can also choose to adjust for inflation to get a better idea of the buying power of your money.
Future Ambitions
Some things we would like to add in the future are preset, editable budget plans, integration with bank accounts and Plaid, and long-term investment goals.
